Hello everyone,

We recently upgraded our firmware on the 750 (8233-E8B) from level AL710_114 to AL730_049.
A few days ahead we upgraded our HMC from 7.2 to 7.3.0 SP1 + fix.

Now the HMC identifies the "2-port 10/100/1000 Ethernet adapter" as a "Quad 10/100/1000 Base-TX PCI-Express Adapter".

Did anyone else notice this? Will this be fixed in HMC 7.4.0 or firmware AL730_060 (which is now available)?

Regards,

Sorry everyone,
It was my own confusion. We do have 4-port cards, so the current description is OK.
It has just changed between firmware or HMC releases, so one of our scripts complained about not knowing the type of card (the word Ethernet no longer appears in the description).
I was mistaken in believing that we had 2-port cards.
