Recently during monthly maintenance activity we notice on one of the VIO a SEA was in defined state. After verification we found that participating virtual ethernet was in defined state as well. We notice that in manged profile I can see the adapter (no. 13) present but activated profile it is missing. So we went ahead and removed the defined ethernet from VIO with rmdev -dl eth5 command and tried to add it again with dynamic operation but failing every time with below message.
"HSCL151A A trunk adapter already exists on one or more of the same VLANs as the trunk adapter being added, and the configuration of the two adapters is not compatible. Please verify that the trunk priorities of the two adapters are different, and that the two adapters participate on all of the same VLANs."
anyone has any idea on this?
