modify palette in CDE style manager
« on: July 25, 2012, 09:20:23 AM »
On some AIX installation I have a modify button in the CDE style manager - color window and on some I have not.
Where do I define that I can have modify button in the CDE style manager - color window in AIX?

been a LONG time since I have worked with DT and CDE, but from memory there are two sub-directories to be looking at, besides information in your home directory (~/.dt)

The defaults are somewhere in /usr/dt or /usr/lpp/*.../dt and the system global changes (that are not changed by updates) would be in /etc/dt/config

This is all from memory, so I might be a little off. To restore "defaults" just remove/rename a file in the /etc/dt/* area and/or ${HOME}/.dt

Also remember, that since this CDE is a X11 application, there is also an X11resources sub-directory in ${HOME}.
