Title: AIX 7.1 P7 720 direct connectivity with lenovo v3700 v2 storage

i connect AIX p7 server through FC cable directly with lenovo v3700 v2 storage but after loading AIX OS the storage is showing AIX offline .

I am not a storage specialist - my guess is that "direct" cabling is not supported - out of the box. As far as I know there are usually fibre switches between the storage units and the FC ports in a host.

And maybe "lenova" and IBM are not compatible.

The cards say "up and running", so verify from Lenova that AIX default MPIO driver work, and/or get a driver for AIX and/or verify cableing is correct.
